Trading Beneath the Surface
In Trading Beneath the Surface, we will peel back the layers and delve deeply into emotional “parts” that exist in the subconscious mind and impact trading behaviors. Through this process, participants should gain a much fuller understanding of the “parts” that drive troublesome behaviors. Traders will begin to develop a new relationship with those “parts” of themselves. In this group, participants will gain insights through mindfulness-based writing activities and gain a connection with other traders through sharing and supporting one another during sessions. Outside of meetings participants will have the option of connecting with and supporting one another in trading through a small group chat. We will utilize writing exercises, meditation, breathwork, and processing time to reconnect with “parts” that impact trading. Group sessions and homework will guide traders in meeting and working with their emotions that come up in trading. Over the course of the group, traders will gain the tools to navigate trading from a more empowered place. This is a deep dive into emotions that often live far beneath the surface.
8 consecutive weekly meetings beginning 10/22/2022 (No Group on 11/26—Thanksgiving Weekend)
